Walnut mug tree with maple pegs
A tapered walnut post tenoned into a half-lapped cross foot, with six hard maple pegs glued in at 28 degrees, two to a level and each level turned a quarter so the mugs never clash. Six mugs hang in a 230mm square of counter instead of a shelf of cupboard, handles out and ready, and they drip-dry upside down after washing.
