Crava designs furniture and other things for you to build yourself. Describe a piece, or show a photo, and Crava designs it, checks every joint, size and load, and gives you the plans and cut list. It starts with wood.

Yes. Crava is free, with every feature - plans and cut lists included. Designing uses AI, so each account has a monthly AI allowance. Crava Plus gives you more, for US$7.99 a month or US$59 a year.

Not to look around: you can browse the designs, open one and change it without one. The full plans - the cut list, cutting diagrams, part drawings and build steps - and designing with the AI come with a free account.

Every design is checked by Crava's checker, which uses no AI: it calculates. It checks that every part is attached and joined parts meet, that nothing collides, that each part can be cut from stock you can buy, that shelves and loaded parts do not sag, that glued joints allow for wood movement, and that the piece stands steadily and fits its wall. A design the AI proposes that fails is sent back to be fixed.

The checks are calculations, not an inspection: they cannot see your materials, tools or wall. Check every measurement before you cut, fix tall pieces to the wall as the plans say, and see the Terms.

Either. Crava works in millimetres and shows inches the way a tape measure reads them, to the nearest sixteenth.

Yes. Show your room, or a piece you love, and Crava reads the space and the style; pick the piece you want and it is designed for you. You can also see a design set into a photo of your own room.

No. The pictures of the featured designs are renderings, made with AI from Crava's own 3D model of each design, and they are labelled as renderings. The model and the plans are what is exact.

Yes. You may build anything from a design Crava gives you, including to sell. What you may not do is copy Crava itself or resell its plans as a collection.

You do. What you describe, the photos you share and the designs made for you are yours. Crava does not use your designs, requests or photos to train AI models, and does not sell your information. See the Privacy Policy.

Some of them. The plans link to stores that sell what a design needs, and some links earn Crava a small commission at no cost to you; as an Amazon Associate, Crava earns from qualifying purchases. Crava never learns what you buy.

From the account menu in Crava. Your account, saved designs, conversations and files are deleted, and removed from backups within 30 days. Deleting your account also cancels Crava Plus.
