Walnut and maple chess table
A walnut side table with a maple and walnut chessboard for a top and a baize-lined drawer for each side's pieces, so a game can be left half-played and the set never goes missing. A slatted shelf below holds the clock and the captured pieces; the top floats on buttons so the border can move with the seasons.
