Terracotta arch reading nook

A kids’ reading nook built around a painted terracotta arch: a cushioned bench with two big toy drawers in front of it, a swing-arm light for bedtime stories, and on each side a shallow birch tower of forward-facing book ledges with maple lips, so covers face out at a child’s height and choosing a book is half the fun.
