• Maple building-brick table with bins A child-height building table with six baseplates set inside a raised maple rim, so bricks stay on the table instead of underfoot, and eight colour-coded bins that slide out on maple runners from both long sides - sort by colour, tip a bin onto the top, slide it back. A plywood shelf below takes the big boxes and the half-built models.
• Dolls' house bookcase A bookcase shaped like a little house, with a terracotta gable roof, a chimney and two rooms on the first floor, that works as a dolls' house and a library at once. Maple ledges on two floors stand picture books facing out so a child can choose by cover, it is anchored to the wall with two brackets, and every edge is rounded.
• Teal panelled toy chest A frame-and-panel toy chest in faded teal with an oiled oak lid that doubles as a bench, built so it can never shut on a child: soft-close stays hold the lid at any angle, and rubber bumpers stop it 12mm above the frame, which also lets air in. Rope handles, a raised floor on cleats and posts mortised to every rail keep it square for a lifetime of toys.
