Cinnamon video-call backdrop wall

The wall behind a home-office desk, designed for the camera: a cinnamon grid of uprights and rails on an MDF lining, oat acoustic felt in five of its bays to take the echo out of a bare room, two open oak display boxes framing your head in the camera row and a lit oak ledge above that throws a soft warm backlight. It looks considered on every call and stands only 200mm off the wall.

• Walnut command desk A 2.6-metre walnut desk with four monitors on a motorised lift behind it. Press the button and they sink into the back of the desk under a walnut lid that closes flush with the top. Two drawer pedestals, edge pulls and a warm LED strip along the front.
• Cherry corner desk An L-shaped desk in oiled cherry that wraps a corner of the room: a long run against the wall, a return that reaches out on a pedestal of two deep file drawers, and a solid cherry end panel where the two meet.
