• Hidden bookcase door An oxblood library wall where the middle bookcase is really a door. It swings out on concealed pivots to a secret room, its shelves lined up with the bookcases either side, and a wide latch stile hides the gap. A cove crown and brass picture lights finish the wall.
• Murphy bed library wall A queen wall bed that folds away behind what looks like four tall Shaker doors, between two bookcases with cupboards below and a row of cupboards bridging over the top. Pull the brass handles and it comes down on its own fold-down leg, lifted by a bought piston kit, with a brass reading light reaching out either side of the pillows.
