• Blush sewing table A generous sewing table with a thick oiled oak top on two dusty-blush drawer pedestals raised on slim square legs. At the back, oak uprights hold a blush spool board with fifty-five maple pegs for thread, a brass rail for scissors and a shelf of glass jars over it all.
• Cherry alcove nook desk A wall-to-wall cherry desk that turns a 1100mm alcove or a closet with its doors off into a study: a 32mm top on cleats with no legs to bang into, a drawer hung under one end, clear of your knees, an ink-plum backboard carrying a linen pinboard and two floating shelves with a warm light under the lower one. It uses the dead recess beside a chimney breast and leaves the room's floor exactly as it was.
• Oak sewing and craft caddy A red oak sewing caddy that carries a whole project from cupboard to table in one hand: nine walnut spool pegs along the tall centre divider, three bays in front for scissors, rulers and the pincushion, two deeper bays behind for fabric and yarn, and a walnut handle through arched ends. Everything is housed in dados, so it stays square however heavy it is loaded.
