Lichen Shaker wainscot with peg rail
Shaker wainscot for a bathroom: lichen-green stiles and a deep bottom rail on a moisture-resistant MDF ground, topped at 1.24m by a solid peg rail with eleven turned maple pegs and an oiled maple cap shelf. Towels, a robe and a laundry bag hang off the floor and dry in the air, the cap holds soap and a candle, and the painted panelling shrugs off splashes that would spoil plaster.
