Eucalyptus loft bed with desk

A single loft bed on oiled maple posts with a two-metre desk and a book shelf tucked underneath, so one 2.1 x 1m footprint does the work of a bed, a desk and a bookcase. Built safe: eucalyptus-green guard panels stand 180mm above the 150mm mattress all round, the straight ladder runs up past the deck as handholds, and both back posts are fixed to the wall; for children six and over, in a room with a ceiling of at least 2400mm.

• Sage nursery changing dresser A soft sage nursery dresser that changes a baby now and holds a toddler’s clothes later: two seagrass baskets in open cubbies at the bottom, two deep drawers, and an oiled maple top with a raised changing tray, guarded on all four sides, holding a contoured pad. Every edge is rounded and it is fixed to the wall.
• Dusty blue toy bench A long, low toy bench in dusty blue with four open cubbies, each holding a soft felt bin in terracotta, oatmeal, sage or mustard, under a solid pine seat with well-rounded edges and a washable mustard cushion. There is no lid to trap fingers: toys go in from the front, and tidying up becomes a colour game.
• Coral two-step stool for kids A two-step stool that lets a small child reach the bathroom basin or the kitchen counter on their own: 210mm and 420mm treads on a 380mm-deep base, sides arched between the feet so it stands on four rubber pads and never rocks. Every corner is rounded to 30mm, the maple treads carry grip strips, and a riser and two rails are housed in both sides so it cannot rack.
