A floor-to-ceiling walk-in closet run in clear-lacquered birch plywood, its striped edges left proud: a long-hang bay for coats and dresses, a tower of four drawers under softly lit shelves, a double-hang bay for shirts and trousers, and a lit tower of shoe shelves. • Oak plank headboard wall with floating nightstands A wall-to-wall headboard of wide oiled oak planks with shadow gaps, on furring battens into the studs and a pine sole plate faced in oak, capped by a ledge for a glass of water and a book. Two oak nightstands with a drawer each hang on French cleats either side of the bed, so the floor under them stays clear for slippers and the vacuum, and two black swing-arm lights are screwed to the planks above them.
• Taupe teen study wall A grown-up study wall for a teenager’s room in matt mushroom taupe: a long floating white oak desk between a tower of drawers under lit open shelves and a tall two-door cupboard, with a full-width cork pinboard over the desk and handle-less push-to-open slab cupboards above it, lit underneath by a warm LED strip.
